We are all looking forward to the 2013 and 2014 NRRRL Premiers, the Ballina Seagulls, hosting the 2015 NRRRL competition leaders, the Murwillumbah Mustangs, on the 31st May 2015.

Under 18’s kick off at 12.00 p.m., followed by Reserve Grade with show time in the big game commencing at 2:45pm.

We need all those supporters out there in Seagull land to come and support the mighty Ballina team and help them get across the line against the Mustangs.

With the weather forecast for 25 degrees and clear skies it will be a perfect afternoon for rugby league viewing.

Unfortunately, the games against Lower Clarence Reserve Grade and 1st Grade were cancelled due to the tragic collapse and subsequent passing away of Magpies player Zane Purcell. The First Grade game has been rescheduled to be played at 7.00 p.m. on Thursday the 04th June.

The Ballina Seagulls welcomes the return of the Grandstand Eatery this Friday night the 17th April under new management.

Nathan & Lou from Mortar & Pestle Catering will be joining the Seagulls for an exciting new dining adventure.

Nathan & Lou previously managed the very popular Serafino cafe and restaurant in Ballina’s Wigmore Arcade.

They will be introducing a great new menu for everyone that includes Light Meals, Mains (including roast of the day), Burgers & Dogs, Salads, Sweet of the Day, Snacks and a Kids Menu.

There are vegetarian and gluten free choices included.

Come and meet Nathan & Lou and have a great meal washed done with the best beer in Ballina or choose from our great range of wines & spirits.

On Sunday the 12th April 2015, Kingsford Smith Park Ballina will again host the Byron Bay Red Devils in a Grand Final replay against the Ballina Seagulls.

Should be a great day’s entertainment with 3 Grades of Footy. Under 18’s to commence at 12.00 p.m.

Can the mighty Seagulls go back-to-back-to-back 1n 2015?

New coach Tyler Iverson (1st Grade) will be doing his best with a team again comprising nearly all previous Ballina juniors, and Damian Meaney (Under 18’s), as well as Mick Foster (Reserves) will be adding great support for a tilt at the NRRRL Club Championship.

The  3 Stooges BBQ, and the Canteen will be operating and refreshments available from both sides of the Ground.

The Clubhouse will also be open all day.
