It’s finally here round 1 of the NRRRL and the mighty Seagulls are taking on the Evans Head Bombers in a home clash.

There is no Under 18′s game as the Bombers don’t have a side so the afternoon will kick off at 1pm with Reserves followed by First Grade.

Get down to Kingsford Smith oval and cheer on the Mighty Seagulls as they start their back to back premiership campaign in 2014.

Seagulls 2014 Season Launch

The Ballina Senior Rugby League Club would like to invite you to an informal get-together to start our 2014 “back-to-back” season.


TIME: 7pm Seagulls Clubhouse.

The Seagulls players will be training and then joining us in the Club.

Greg Ryan, our 2013 NRRRL Premiership winning captain will be MC for the night interviewing our star players and coaches.

The Seagulls chances in all Grades for 2014 will be analysed and the 2014 playing gear will be on display.

Drinks and Snacks will be available.

Seagulls v Evans Trial Match

The Ballina Seagulls will have their second trial match in preparation for the start of the 2014 season on Friday 21st March at home against Evans Head.

Reserves will kick off at 6pm followed by first grade (there is no Under 18 match). The clubhouse will be open from 4pm and canteen and BBQ facilities will also be available.

Get to Kingsford smith oval for a great Friday night of local footy and cheer on the Seagulls.

Seagulls Trial Match March 15

The 2013 Premiership winning Seagulls will have their first trial match for 2014 on 15th March at home against the Coffs Harbour Comets. The Comets are the reigning premiers in Group 2 so it should be a great pre season warm up for the Seagulls.

There will also be two juniors games against Mullumbimby before the commencement of the Senior games.

Game Schedule:
1pm – Under 13′s
2pm – Under 16′s
3pm – Under 18′s
4:30pm – Reserves
6pm – First Grade
After the final game live music will be provided in the Club by Jeff Massey.
